The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to join a fast-growing team.
You’ll be the sole technical contact for key commercial contracts, delivering high-quality PPMs, reactive maintenance, and system upgrades across a variety of AC systems.
This role goes beyond the tools — you’ll host client meetings, prepare reports and updates, and manage pricing/quotes. With planned progression opportunities, the goal is for you to step into a Contract Manager role within 18 months and lead your own team.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and system upgrades

Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned contracts

Attend and lead client meetings

Prepare technical reports and project updates

Produce quotations and manage pricing for works

Support on-call duties (details TBC)

Salary: Up to £46,800 per annum (DOE)

Holidays: 20 + 8 statutory, plus +2 after 2 years, with an option to purchase 3 additional days after probation

Overtime: 1.5x and 2x (Sunday double time if Saturday worked)

- C&G 2079 / FGAS / Refrigerant Handling
- Experience in a client facing role
