Location: Midlands-Based (National Travel Required)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 (Hybrid – 1 day per week in Nuneaton office)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Commercial Project Manager to join a dynamic team delivering large-scale renewable energy installations across the UK. This role focuses on the end-to-end management of Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) projects, valued between £100k and £750k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical and renewable energy projects
- Oversee site supervisors and coordinate subcontractors on-site
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the delivery phase
- Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with MCS and Renewable Heat Incentive schemes
- Use MS Project and Primavera for scheduling and reporting
- Attend client meetings and conduct regular site visits
Requirements:
- HNC in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Proven experience in project management within mechanical or renewable sectors
- Familiarity with MCS standards and Renewable Heat Incentive frameworks
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Primavera
