About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager with strong HVAC and Plumbing expertise to join a growing mechanical services team based in the Midlands.

Following recent client wins and continued business growth, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects, lead teams, and deliver high-quality mechanical installations across the UK and Ireland.

You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle — from planning and resource management through to on-site delivery and final handover — ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This role also involves allocating projects to other Project Managers, monitoring their progress, and driving continuous improvement across project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of HVAC and mechanical installation projects across the UK and Ireland

  • Attend client meetings, pre-start meetings, and regular progress reviews

  • Plan, coordinate and manage both direct labour and subcontractors

  • Purchase materials and oversee budgets and timelines

  • Produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements and O&M manuals

  • Handle project variations and ensure snag-free completion

  • Support bid proposals, contract negotiations and site surveys

  • Allocate and monitor projects handled by other Project Managers

  • Collaborate with Directors to enhance company procedures and efficiencies

About You

  • Proven experience in HVAC and mechanical project management

  • Strong understanding of air conditioning and mechanical building services

  • Familiar with UK building regulations and industry standards

  • ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services (HVAC) preferred

  • CSCS card holder with strong Health & Safety awareness

  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills

  • Proficient in IT systems and confident working from CAD drawings

  • Ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary package (£55k–£60k DOE)

  • Company car and fuel allowance

  • Private pension and healthcare scheme

  • 22 days annual leave plus your birthday and bank holidays

  • Supportive, team-focused environment with opportunities for career progression
