Progression to Head of Projects | Up to £70k + Package + 20% Bonus
We’re working with a major FM service provider who are seeking a high-calibre Senior Project Manager ready to step into a Head of Projects position within 12 months. This is a rare opportunity for someone looking to take on full leadership responsibility in a growing projects environment.
The Package:

Salary: Up to £70,000 + £5,100 car allowance

Bonus: Up to 20% (KPI driven)

Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

Location: Warrington-based (minimum 4 days on-site to start), with flexibility once established

The Role – Senior Project Manager
As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of a varied portfolio of capital projects. You'll manage a team of Project Managers and Supervisors and be accountable for full project lifecycle delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
Annual project spend will typically range between £3–4 million, with individual projects valued from £50k to £1m. You’ll deliver works across refurbishments, M&E upgrades, ESG initiatives, and more.
Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end project leadership from scoping and planning through to handover

Line management of 4 direct reports, including Project Managers and Supervisors

Oversee a broad range of works – fabric, civils, mechanical, electrical, and sustainability-related

Supply chain management including selection, audits, and commercial risk oversight

Drive stakeholder engagement, providing value and strategic project input

Maintain full commercial control – forecasting, budgeting, and risk management

Ensure quality, compliance, and health & safety across all project activity

Play a key role in expanding project opportunities within the account
The Person – Senior Project Manager Profile
This opportunity suits a Senior Project Manager who’s commercially aware, technically competent, and motivated to grow into a broader leadership role. You’ll need to be confident leading teams, managing high-value project portfolios, and building strong client relationships.
What You'll Need:

Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager within FM, construction, or related industries

Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple live projects

Financially fluent – strong understanding of P&L, budgets, forecasting, and supplier performance

Well-versed in CDM, H&S regulations, and governance frameworks

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ambition and capability to step up into a Head of Projects role in the near future
