Electrical Manager

We are actively seeking an accomplished and skilled Electrical Department Manager to lead and manage our dynamic electrical team.

If you have a proven track record in electrical installation, project management, and team leadership, this is an exciting opportunity for you to shape the success and growth of our electrical department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:

    • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of electricians, technicians, and support staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
  2. Project Management:

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet project goals.
  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in electrical installations and maintenance.
    • Review regular audits and inspections to uphold quality assurance.
  4. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay abreast of electrical codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in all areas of the electrical department.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  5. Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets for electrical projects/contracts, monitoring costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    • Provide financial oversight to ensure the department operates within allocated resources.
  6. Client Communication:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their electrical needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  7. Innovation and Technology Integration:

    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in all aspects of our electrical offering.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and technology integration within the department.
  8. Training and Development:

    • Develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the electrical team.
    • Promote continuous learning to keep the team updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 18th Edition electrical regulation certification,
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing.
  • Proven experience in electrical installation, testing, rectification work, and project management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical engineering degree.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within an electrical department.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical practices.
