Building Engineer

$80,000 per annum + overtime opportunities
Working on a 500,00 sq ft pharmaceutical facility on behalf of a globally renowned facility management company .
The successful candidate will have previous experience with GMP, Clean Utilities, Standard Operating Procedures and Pharmaceutical industry experience.
On a day to day you will utilizes advanced skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building and GMP operations, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Monitor building system operations and performance. Thorough knowledge of clean utility systems, including WFI, pure water, chilled water, clean steam, process air, Electrical, Chillers, Boilers, and cooling towers. Demonstrated ownership and innovation of clean utility systems required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.
Performs assigned repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance.
Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
Responds quickly to emergencies, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Universal CFC certification is preferred.
Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
