Business Development Manager (Must come from an electrical or FM background)
Location: East Midlands
Work Arrangement: 3/4 days in the office in Lincoln and out with clients when not in the office
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Package for the right candidate

Our client, a leading provider in the electrical services industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This role involves working across a variety of portfolios including commercial buildings such as offices & skyscrapers, healthcare, aviation, and life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Negotiation: Identify, negotiate, and successfully close sales opportunities. Meet and exceed sales targets as agreed upon with higher management.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry developments and competitor activities. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
- Contract Management: Maintain accurate records and relevant contract documentation. Ensure all sales activities are compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop strategic sales plans. Provide insights and feedback to support business growth and improve service offerings.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in a business development role within the electrical or facilities management (FM) sector.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the electrical services market, including testing and remedial works.
- Proactivity: Highly motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and meet clients across the region, with a base in Lincoln.
