Introduction: We are actively recruiting MULTIPLE Electrical Engineers to join our team at RAF Croughton. As a key player in providing operational support, you will be responsible for repairs, maintenance, and small minor-new works across various facilities, including restaurants, schools, churches, and gyms. We value a commitment to health and safety, customer service excellence, and a proactive approach to ensure all works are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Statutory, Mandatory, and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
- Carry out reactive repairs/callouts on mission-critical assets within contractual SLA timescales.
- Complete compliance activity and minor works in accordance with JSP375.
- Undertake minor installation works, e.g., refurbishment projects.
- Manage a schedule of work, ensuring timely completion of all associated administration duties.
- Work with minimal supervision and make decisions on appropriate repair solutions.
- Ensure all Health & Safety documentation (RAMS) is present before task engagement.
- Review and contribute to Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring compliance.
- Work from drawings, specifications, and other documentation without direct supervision.
- Record all tasks against appropriate assets via the PDA and ensure timely completion and distribution of all maintenance and response work documentation.
Qualifications/Desired: Essential:
- Electrical qualifications.
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements, including COSHH and RIDDOR.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to obtain 'SC' level Security Clearance.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to self-motivate.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience of working on electrical assets within a commercial environment.
- Accredited First Aid qualification.
- Accredited Health and Safety qualification.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Previous experience of operating in an MOD environment and/or previous SC clearance.
