An excellent opportunity has come in to us here from one of our globally recognised Facilities Maintenance Clients. They are looking to appoint a Mobile Electrical Supervisor to cover their East Anglia Portfolio.
General Overview:
- To oversee all electrical/Mechanical works on site ensuring this is carried out in a safe and compliant manner.
- To drive out additional electrical/Mechanical remedial works following completion of planned preventative maintenance, test and inspection of the electrical inspection or client requests for extra works.
- Auditing of compliance documentation.
- Compile accurate quotations for electrical/Mechanical remedial works.
- Mange a team of engineers undertaking small works / projects
- Act as the Quality Surveyor for the NICEIC duties.
- Provide site cover when required.
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practices.
- To operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with Technical and SHEQ processes and client requirements (or approved client system).
- Undertake mandatory training and skill related training as required by the business.
- To develop and maintain a good working relationship with all members of Staff, Sub-Contractors, and the Client representatives to stand in when cover for Contract Manager
- Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
- Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
- To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs). Take part in the regional on-call rota.
- There will be a requirement to work out of hours to fulfil our maintenance commitments of our customers.
- Undertake regular audits of vehicle / tools to ensure they are in safe working order, including all test equipment is in date
- Monthly reporting as required
- SHEQ (Health, Safety, Quality and Environment)
- Comply with reasonable requests for information from HSQE manager
- Ensue all engineers PPE is up to date and safe
- Ensure toolbox talks are carried out to the ICMS procedures
- Ensure all engineers are following risk assessments for all works
- HR (Human Resources)
- Complete primary investigations for any alleged misconduct incidents involving engineering staff and report to Contract Manager
- Complete staff PDR
- Complete RTW
- Electrical C&G or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
- Electrical inspection 2391
- BS7671 18th Edition (Essential)
- Able to read electrical drawings
- Mechanical experience desirable
- Building Services Experience (M&E)
