We are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the UK's biggest facilities management companies based at a research and product development site in Maidenhead.
The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will ideally come from an Electrical background with experience in reactive and pre-planned maintenance as well as general building services work including basic tap changes and blockages.
Key Responsibilities;
- Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites plant, equipment and services
- Respond to building management system alarms and emergency repairs as needed
- Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the permit to work systems
- Compliance and record keeping
- Organise and assist in reactive repairs as required
- Utilising helpdesk and PPM systems to monitor service delivery
- Provide hazard reporting on site when necessary
- To develop a good working relationship with all members of staff
- 18th Edition (essential)
- NVQ qualified to level 2/3 (Electric)
- Previous testing & inspection (desirable)
- Good all round building services knowledge
- Good verbal communication skills
- Calm manner with the ability to work under pressure
- Physically fit
