Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays and 2x on Sundays.

A leading family run HVAC company with a head office in Tees Valley and a growing branch in South Yorkshire is seeking a driven and motivated candidate to join a busy working environment with a large customer base. This role involves supporting experienced air conditioning engineers with planned preventative maintenance, our values are very important to us, building relationships with our customers to provide an excellent service is paramount.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the repair, maintenance of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems including working on, Cold Rooms, Chiller Cabinets and Display Cabinets. Split A/C, AHU, VRV Systems and Water Chillers.
The role on offer enables the right candidate to work extensively within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry. Every day is different, you will be working in Convenience Stores, the Food/Drinks industry, Commercial offices, Prisons, Schools, Heavy Industry sites and much more.
Job specific accountabilities:
- Complete Air conditioning maintenance & reactive work across several large commercial sites.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and reactive works when needed.
- Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building services.
- Carry out all reactive breakdowns and services.
- Use provided test and monitoring equipment to maintain engineering systems to aid fault and repair.
- Carrying out pre-planned maintenance, attend service call, diagnosing and repairing faults with air conditioning and refrigeration in commercial and industrial environments.
- Provide technical support to other engineers.
Qualifications / Experience:
- 12+ years’ experience.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation
- F-Gas
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- References to be provided.
- Ability to support less experienced engineers over the phone or in person.
- Ability to support apprentices who are new to the industry and require hands-on experience for their coursework.
