​Grant Townsend brings over 15 years of specialist recruitment experience across building services, BMS, data centres, HVAC and critical infrastructure markets within the UK and Asia-Pacific regions.

As Director – Australia at APAC FM, Grant holds full P&L responsibility and leads the strategic growth of the business across the Australian market. Based in Sydney, he works with facilities management providers, mission-critical operators and engineering contractors to deliver specialist recruitment solutions across complex and high-dependency environments.

Grant’s background includes leading recruitment divisions focused on BMS controls, building automation, HVAC, industrial engineering and digital infrastructure. His expertise spans permanent and contract recruitment across construction, engineering and operational phases — particularly within data centre and mission-critical environments where uptime, compliance and technical precision are non-negotiable.

Having built and scaled specialist recruitment teams across both the UK and Australia, Grant understands the importance of aligning recruitment delivery with long-term operational strategy. His approach centres on partnership, technical understanding and structured market insight rather than transactional hiring.

He works closely with senior stakeholders to support:
