Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Reading / Slough (with some West London sites)
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We’re recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to work across a commercial portfolio covering Reading, Slough, and selected West London sites. This role suits an engineer who enjoys a varied workload, combining air conditioning maintenance with small commercial refrigeration equipment.
You’ll be joining a well-established business with a stable client base, realistic patch coverage, and strong long-term prospects.
The Role

Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial sites

Service, fault-finding, and repair of air conditioning systems

Working on small commercial refrigeration units, including cellar cooling and under-counter equipment

Attending breakdowns and completing repairs in line with F-Gas and industry standards

Completing job reports and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams

Covering a manageable regional patch across Reading / Slough, with some West London sites

About You
-
Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer with valid F-Gas certification
-
Experience working on commercial AC systems (split systems, VRV/VRF, etc.)

Hands-on experience with small refrigeration systems (pubs, cellars, hospitality environments)

Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance skills

Full UK driving licence
-
Able to work independently and manage your own workload
