Position: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Covering between Stoke and Lancaster
Salary: £40,000-£47,000 DOE + door-to-door travel + overtime
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 7 call-out (Friday evening to Monday morning)

A well-established facilities maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support its northern portfolio. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance across a range of retail, commercial, and high-end residential sites, ensuring HVAC systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
This is a long-term position within a stable FM environment, offering consistent work, strong support, and a well-managed regional patch.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and fault-find air conditioning systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Work on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs, and associated HVAC plant
- Complete F-Gas, statutory, and compliance documentation accurately
- Liaise professionally with site contacts and facilities teams
- Work in line with health & safety and FM procedures
- Proven experience within a facilities maintenance environment
- F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good working knowledge of HVAC systems and controls
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, organised, and client-facing
