£41,917.83 Basic Salary

37.5 Hour Working Week

PLUS standby allowance £290 per week! (When on Rota)

Appropriate overtime rate for callouts.

Additionally, 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays.

The Role:

  • As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing technical issues and providing solutions for Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems, including some electrical maintenance.
  • Your responsibilities will encompass routine maintenance checks, fault finding, repair, and installation.
  • Regular interaction with customers will be a key aspect of the role. You'll work across a designated region, reporting directly to the Technical Service Manager and collaborating closely with customers, fellow engineers, and subcontractors.


  • Must hold a Commercial gas qualification/certification (COCN1 or CODNCO1) and be Gas Safe registered.
  • Ideally qualified and accredited by Gas Safe in commercial gas modules, including CIGA1, CORT1, CENWAT, and TPCP1A.
  • Experience maintaining Gas equipment/pipe work and hot and cold-water systems.
  • 18th edition or supplementary electrical skills will be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience completing job certificates in an electronic format.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required, with a provided van or car for travel within the specified area.
  • Demonstrable experience of liaising with customers.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Good level of PC literacy.
