Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Hounslow (with site visits across London)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Holidays: 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Benefits: Company van & fuel card provided
About the Role
We are a well-established facilities management company based in Hounslow, looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our growing team. This is a mixed role involving both office-based work and regular site visits to commercial properties across London.
You will typically be visiting sites 3–4 days per week, with the remaining time spent working from our Hounslow office completing reports and liaising with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments on commercial properties

Undertaking water sampling in line with current legislation and guidance

Producing clear, accurate risk assessment reports and schematic drawings

Identifying non-compliances and recommending remedial actions

Liaising professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams

Ensuring all work complies with HSG274, ACOP L8, and relevant standards
Requirements

Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor

Competent in carrying out water sampling

Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Full UK driving licence
-
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
