Maintenance Electrician – Static Commercial Site

Location: Enfield EN2, London
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to work at a static commercial site in Enfield. This Maintenance Electrician role is based on a one-man site, making it ideal for a confident and self-sufficient Maintenance Electrician who takes pride in full ownership of a building.

This opportunity is with a well-established FM business offering long-term stability, strong support, and genuine progression for a skilled Maintenance Electrician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as the site Maintenance Electrician

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and small works

  • Completing general building services maintenance with an electrical bias

  • Fault finding, testing, and repairs on electrical systems

  • Managing site compliance, logbooks, and statutory inspections

  • Coordinating with subcontractors and FM management when required

  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within commercial buildings

  • Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

  • Electrically biased with exposure to general building services

  • Comfortable working independently on a one-man site

  • Strong fault-finding and organisational skills

  • Professional communication and a proactive approach
