HVAC Design Engineer
Working form an office in Burton - Upon - Trent (occasional site visits)
£45,000 a year salary + Car allowance
Monday to Friday
This is a role with a formidable Group of FM providers in the UK
In this role you will collaborate closely with our clients, project managers/engineers and estimators to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions.
You will be responsible for performing load calculations, duct sizing, equipment selection and co-ordinating with other trades to ensure we delivery an optimal system performance. In addition, you will be involved in reviewing external design solutions and you will be required to conduction site inspections and provide technical support.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems for industrial and commercial premises.
- Design calculations including duct sizing, equipment, pipework etc.
- Site surveying when needed
- Technical support for the project team.
- Assist the estimating team by sourcing quotations from suppliers and vetting quotations for compliance with employer’s requirement, specifications, and standards etc.
- Stay up to date with the latest regulations and standards and merging technologies.
- Review design and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Co-ordinate with clients, architects, and project teams.
Qualifications
- Proficient using CAD/Revit
- Proficient using HVAC software.
