AC Engineer
Network Rail Contract – London
£45,000 Basic + Overtime + Standby
Company Vehicle | 31 Days Holiday
We’re recruiting an experienced AC Engineer to join a long-standing team delivering HVAC services across a major Network Rail contract in London.
This contract has been successfully delivered for over 10 years, with established systems, clear processes, and a team that knows the sites inside out. You’ll be joining a stable, knowledgeable group of engineers covering Euston, St Pancras, King’s Cross, London Bridge and Victoria.
The role
You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs across a wide range of HVAC and AC plant, including:

AHUs
-
VRV / VRF systems
-
Cassettes
-
Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

Pumps and associated plant
The role operates on a 40-hour week with flexible start times (engineers can be on the road from as early as 5am if preferred).
Travel is managed fairly with 30 minutes deducted each way and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
There is a 1 in 8 on-call rota, with £125 standby payment, plus overtime.
What we’re looking for

Proven experience as an AC / HVAC Engineer

F-Gas 2079 qualification (minimum requirement)

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability

Experience in commercial or critical environments

Full UK driving licence

Professional, reliable approach to working on live sites
