Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum
Holidays: 23 days + 8 bank holidays
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support essential heating and hot water systems across a portfolio of Care Homes, Nursing Homes, Hotels and Large Venues.
This role is ideal for an engineer who takes pride in reliable, high-quality work and understands the importance of keeping vulnerable residents safe, warm, and comfortable.
You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas plant in clean, well-managed environments, with no on-call rota and a strong focus on work-life balance.

The Role
- Service, maintain and repair commercial gas boilers and associated plant
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs
- Undertake gas safety inspections and testing
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation
- Work professionally within live care and healthcare environments
- Build positive relationships with site staff and management
- Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (e.g., CODNCO1 / COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CIGA1)
- Current Gas Safe Registration (commercial)
- Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding skills and a professional approach
- Experience within care homes, nursing homes, hospitals or similar environments
- Domestic Gas qualifications
- HVAC or multi-skilled building services experience
- Salary up to £47,000
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
