Our client currently has an opportunity for a Shift Engineer to be based at a critical site in Welwyn Garden City - working on behalf of one of the best providers in the industry with over 25 years of experience with 14 state of the art data sites across the country.
Working for one of the UK's best FM companies you'll be responsible for providing a reactive and planned maintenance service, installations as well as keeping management up to date on a regular basis.

Duties and Responsibilities for a Shift Engineer:
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out modifications and installations when required
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
- Liaise with client/management
Qualifications and Experience for a Shift Engineer:
- Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 qualification in relevant Electrical/Mechanical maintenance
- 18th Edition (desirable)
- Previous experience in a critical environment (essential)
- Client-facing & well presented
