Job Title: HVAC Commissioning Engineer (Air & Water Balancing)
Location: 1 hr from Bromsgrove but will required to travel Nationwide
Job Type: Permanent
Working hours:  Monday-Friday 40hrs a week
Rate: £45k - £50k  door to door (Might consider a bit more for the right candidate)

A dynamic and innovative leader in the HVAC industry, dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions for optimal indoor comfort, is looking for a skilled HVAC Commissioning Engineer (Air & Water Balancing).

You will work across Healthcare, Educational, offices and Leisure Centre sites. Working in line with relevant Health & Safety legislations you will be commissioning water, air, and ventilation systems, carrying out fault finding on site and auditing of air handling units. You will also regularly liaise with clients, providing detailed reports alongside continuous support and technical advice. Due to the nature of the contracts, the successful client must be happy to travel extensively across the UK in line with company / client requirements.

The HVAC commissioning engineer will be:
  • verifying AHUs, ventilation systems and water distribution systems function efficiently and meet design specifications.
  • ensure there is proper distribution and circulation of air throughout the building and will be required to adjust dampers, louvres and registers to achieve specified airflow rates.
  • ensure balanced water flow in water circulation systems, such as hydronic heating or chilled water systems, by adjusting valves and monitoring water pressure differentials.
  • Auditing of air handling units (AHU) and carrying out work where necessary.
  • Ensuring all test sheets are filled out accurately as well as producing detailed reports for clients
  • required to keep a record of test results and any adjustments made.

The HVAC commissioning engineer must be
  • Level 2 qualified in Plumbing & Heating.
  • Fgas Cat 1 qualified.
