We have had a role come in with a company that don’t usually have positions due to their great retention rate and happy engineers. They are looking for a maintenance electrician to cover 15 well established retail stores with sites in Telford, Shrewsbury, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Stafford, and Merry Hill.

You will be looking after all issues that arise in store and could vary from new socket replacement up to new complex electrical fault. There is also an expectation don’t just cover electrical work and do anything that arises in store. This could be basic plumbing, carpentry or painting.

You will also be responsible for keeping the stores compliant and ensuring all statutory PPMs are up to date and logged correctly.

You won’t be alone working and have a team of 8 engineers covering a similar area so will have a constant stream of support.

On offer is a reasonable salary of £37,000 which includes door to door travel, along with a brand-new van and fuel card. You will also be on a 37-hour working week meaning you will hit overtime much quicker. It would be very adventurous if you also come from a retail background.
