Shift Electrical Engineer (Days)
Location: Liverpool Street, London
Shift: Day shifts, 7am–7pm (static site)
Contract: Permanent | Long-term contract

We are recruiting a Shift Electrical Engineer to join the on-site team at a prestigious commercial building near Liverpool Street.
This is a day-shift role working 7am–7pm, suited to an electrically biased engineer with strong experience in PPM, fault finding and reactive maintenance within a commercial building environment. You’ll be part of an established shift team delivering reliable, compliant building services on a high-profile site.
The role
-
Electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
-
Electrical fault finding, repairs and reactive works
-
Maintenance of lighting, power and LV distribution systems

Acting as Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) on site

Supporting statutory compliance and safe systems of work

Completing job sheets, permits and compliance documentation
-
Liaising with the client and supervising subcontractors when required
(Some mechanical exposure is involved, but this is an electrically focused role.)
What we’re looking for
-
Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Experience in commercial building maintenance or FM

Strong knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance
-
Comfortable working day shifts in a client-facing role
-
LVAP certification
HVAP experience is beneficial but not essential.
