Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrator to join our team in Stockport. The successful candidate will oversee the daily administrative operations of our office, manage a team of three office staff, coordinate with six engineers, and liaise with subcontractors. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of three office staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high performance.
  • Manage schedules, assignments, and communications for six engineers and various subcontractors.
  • Oversee office operations including document management, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, including resource allocation and timeline management.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Handle invoicing, budget tracking, and financial reporting for the department.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or with external partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in an administrative or office management role, preferably within facilities management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
