Our client is one of the largest FM companies operates across the UK with an annual operating revenue of £17b and are considered to be one of the biggest suppliers of FM Services, Food & Catering and other building services across the world. They cover the hard and soft services across some of the largest clients within the commercial, domestic and industrial industry.

This role is a Technical Services Manager looking after a main corporate client at a tenanted office in Central London. You will also look after 3 other sites in Central London and 1 in Borehamwood overseeing a team of circa 6 technicians and have a Technical Supervisor reporting directly into you. You will report into the Account Manager for this role and be responsible for working standards set on site as well as dealing with statutory compliance, KPIs, SLAs and be responsible for technical support given on it. Ideally we're looking for somebody from an electrical background ideally but open to speaking with anyone from an FM background with M&E experience.

Job responsibilities for the Technical Services Manager:

  • Lead the delivery of Technical Services, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with statutory maintenance, and adherence to SLAs for both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Drive team performance, offering hands-on leadership to enhance service delivery, reduce subcontractor dependency, and upskill the team.
  • Engage in strategic client conversations to advocate for engineering excellence and future-proofing estate management.
  • Ensure 100% uptime of critical assets, maintaining compliance with all Sodexo and client-specific health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) policies.
  • Provide technical supervision and guidance to the engineering team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, technical problem-solving, and innovation.
