Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Commercial Building
22 Bishopsgate, Central London
£52,000 + Optional Client Bonus + Approx. £4,000 Overtime
We are currently recruiting for a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious commercial office building at 22 Bishopsgate in Central London.
This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion, making it an excellent role for an experienced electrically biased building services engineer looking to step into a site lead position within a high-end corporate environment.
Working across 2 floors, the successful candidate will act as the main technical presence on site, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of building services while maintaining a high level of service for building occupants.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems

Provide electrical fault finding and maintenance within a commercial office environment

Act as the Lead Engineer on site, overseeing building services operations

Supervise specialist contractors during planned maintenance and project works

Support with minor maintenance tasks and system troubleshooting when required

Liaise with building occupants and stakeholders to maintain excellent service standards

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards

Provide supervision of out-of-hours works when required
Working Hours
-
Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 16:30

Site-based role (5 days per week)

Overtime available for out-of-hours work supervision
Salary & Benefits

£52,000 basic salary

Optional client bonus scheme

Approximately £4,000 overtime available annually

Candidate Requirements
-
Electrically qualified engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ / equivalent)

Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management

Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience

Ability to work as the lead engineer on a corporate site

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
