Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Yorkshire (mobile role – commercial sites only)
Pay Rate: £20 – £22 per hour (depending on experience) – Door-to-door pay

About Us:
We are a specialist recruitment agency working in partnership with a well-established HVAC and facilities management company. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover commercial sites across Yorkshire.

The Role:
This is a mobile position working exclusively on commercial properties such as offices, retail units, schools, and public sector buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of air conditioning systems, ensuring high standards and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, service, and maintenance of commercial air conditioning systems
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Attending reactive breakdown call-outs
• Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
• Completing job reports and documentation accurately

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer (commercial experience essential)
• Valid F-Gas certification
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (essential for site access)
