We have a fantastic permanent job opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join one of the largest Facilities Management Companies in the UK.

Role : Electrical Engineer
Location : London W9 2LG
Hours : Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights) 4 on and 4 off.
Salary : £38,000


Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer – to work across a small number of Mitie clients’ sites to conduct work that provides a maintenance service, covering a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment. 

Key Responsibilities:
Tasks will include (but not be limited to): Emergency light testing, general electrical installations for project works, remedial works for EI&T testing, PAT Testing, PPM tasks and other general maintenance tasks as and when required.
 

You will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical,  and instrumentation plant to optimize both reliability and maintainability. You will provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required. You will also need to complete any required paperwork, produce reports accurately and on a timely basis. 

You should carry out work in high standards and in line with current company policies and procedures and report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery, or risk to health and safety, or the environment. You will be responsible for ensuring own work and work of those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.  

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate would have appropriate, up to date training such as NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline), ideally hold an 18th Edition qualification and have good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.

Suitable training may be given when needed to ensure that the candidate is competent to achieve the skills required.
