Maintenance Plumber
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Plumber to join their team on a key long-term contract with the University of Aberdeen. This is a great opportunity for a skilled plumber to work primarily on reactive maintenance across a large, established site, with occasional mobile support to nearby contracts.
The Role:
- 90% site-based at the University of Aberdeen
- Predominantly reactive work including fault-finding, urgent repairs, and system troubleshooting
- Occasional planned maintenance and minor install work
- Support to nearby contracts as needed
- Part of an on-call rota (1 in 4) with £100/week standby allowance
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 depending on experience

Ideal Candidate:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in commercial reactive maintenance
- Confident diagnosing and resolving a range of plumbing issues
- Domestic gas tickets (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT) are desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence required
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
