Maintenance Supervisor

A well-established building services and facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee engineering operations on a key commercial contract in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering supervisor with a mechanical or electrical background to lead a small team delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a busy commercial environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting engineers, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high service standards, while still being technically involved when required.
The Role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the site while providing leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers
-
Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
-
Ensuring statutory compliance and health & safety standards
-
Supporting engineers with technical issues and fault finding
-
Liaising with clients and site stakeholders
-
Coordinating subcontractors when required
-
Assisting with reporting, scheduling and workload planning

Supporting with hands-on maintenance work when needed
Working Hours & Package

Salary: £45,000 per year

Monday – Friday working pattern
-
40-hour working week

Requirements
To be considered, candidates should have:
-
Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Engineer / Engineering Supervisor

Strong background in building services maintenance
-
Electrical or mechanical engineering background

Experience managing PPM schedules and reactive maintenance
-
Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
-
Strong communication and client-facing skills
-
Full UK driving licence preferred
