Static Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (shift times between 6:00am–6:00pm, to be confirmed)

The Role

We are recruiting a Static Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team at East Midlands Airport. This is a site-based role delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and complete all required documentation

• Respond to reactive and emergency breakdowns

• Participate in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours cover

• Ensure all tasks are completed within contractual timescales

• Monitor and help reduce energy consumption on site

• Supervise visiting subcontractors, ensuring quality and Health & Safety compliance

• Support other team members and assist across the wider portfolio when required

• Maintain accurate and timely completion of all work-related paperwork

• Carry out duties in line with company policies and Health & Safety procedures

• Undertake additional duties within your capabilities as required

About You

• Qualified in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration with relevant City & Guilds certifications, including F-Gas (Category 1)

• Experience delivering maintenance within a service contract environment

• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and performance targets

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices

• Customer-focused with good communication skills

• Proactive, flexible approach

• Able to diagnose, fault-find, and repair efficiently

• Organised and capable of completing documentation accurately and on time
