Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week (08:30 - 17:00)
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Security Clearance: Pre-employment screening required, with eligibility for Security Check clearance.
Role Overview- Air Conditioning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and repairs on a range of air conditioning systems including variable refrigerant flow systems, variable refrigerant volume systems and heat pumps.

Key Responsibilities- Air Conditioning Engineer
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs.
- Maintain and repair heat pumps and variable refrigerant flow and volume systems.
- Occasionally work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets or ice machines.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines when troubleshooting faults.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications- Air Conditioning Engineer
- Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or Heating and Ventilation.
- F-Gas Cat 1.
- Good knowledge of health and safety and permit to work procedures.
