A superb opportunity for an experienced BMS & Controls Engineering Manager to take ownership of the controls function at a brand?new, cutting?edge tech campus in King’s Cross (N1C).
You’ll lead the BMS strategy, performance, optimisation and compliance across a modern, highly automated, data?driven building.

This role suits someone who thrives in a smart?building environment and wants full responsibility for site?wide controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the BMS & Controls function for a large, modern commercial site
• Manage the full BMS maintenance and optimisation programme
• Monitor alarms, system performance and environmental conditions
• Act as the controls/technical lead for engineering and operational teams
• Oversee all change control across hardware, software and documentation
• Improve alarm management processes and response strategies
• Conduct technical audits, inspections, testing and compliance checks
• Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical/electrical plant and systems
• Support site?critical events and emergency procedures
• Drive system enhancements to increase building performance and resilience
• Communicate technical updates clearly across engineering and management

What You’ll Need

• Strong background in BMS, Controls or Smart Building Engineering
• Leadership or management experience within engineering or FM
• Knowledge of platforms such as Tridium, EasyIO, etc.
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical and mechanical building services
• Experience with audits, compliance, change control and technical reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder?facing skills
• Strong problem?solving ability and technical capability
