Contract Manager – Facilities Management
Location: Runcorn (covering North West region)
Salary: £52,000 + Tesla Company Car + Benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a well-established Facilities Management company, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of services across a portfolio of commercial contracts in the North West.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background and proven management experience to take responsibility for operational performance, client satisfaction, and team development.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Contract Manager will lead a team of 8–10 engineers, ensuring all planned and reactive works are completed to a high standard, safely, and within contractual SLAs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day delivery of services across commercial contracts.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of mobile and site-based engineers.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, health & safety, and quality standards.
• Overseeing planned maintenance, reactive works, and small project delivery.
• Managing budgets, labour allocation, and materials procurement.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure service excellence.
• Identifying opportunities for contract growth and efficiency improvements.

About You

You’ll be an experienced electrical professional with a background in facilities management or building services, confident in leading teams and managing client relationships.

You’ll need:

• NVQ Level 3(or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing maintenance or FM contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Full UK driving licence.
