Fabric Engineer – Fareham

Salary: £35,000+
Hours: Monday–Friday

• 07:00–15:30
• 09:00–18:00

We’re looking for a skilled Fabric Engineer to provide high?quality maintenance and repair services across a busy commercial site in Fareham.

Role Overview

You’ll handle a variety of building fabric maintenance tasks, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard. This includes general repairs, basic carpentry, painting, patching, tiling, and other fabric-related duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance
• Complete repairs including carpentry, painting/decorating, plastering, and general building fabric tasks
• Support wider FM and engineering teams where needed
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to site staff and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a fabric/maintenance role (commercial experience preferred)
• Strong all-round building maintenance skills
• Good communication and problem?solving abilities
• Able to work independently and manage workload
• High-quality workmanship and attention to detail
