This maintenance operative job is a rare static role in the Wolverhampton area with very easy parking and career progression opportunities.


This role will really suit someone looking to progress their career within the FM industry and upskill into an electrical background eventually.

The site has ample free parking too, making it ideal for someone who is fed up of fighting for parking spaces in the city centre. 

The role will involve looking after a section of a few well-known hospital in the Wolverhampton area.

On site you will be responsible for carrying out all statutory building checks including fire alarm checks, emergency lighting, and legionella checks. This role will also be responsible for reactive maintenance. You will also get to help out the electrician on site and eventually go through training into fixing the systems yourself.

You will be working for a well-established team and the workload is manageable and more 'relaxed' than some other sites you may face.

You will be on call one week in 4, but the calls are mainly just manning the phone and a lot of the issues can be amended from home. 

You will ideally be from a maintenance background and understand the FM industry. In an ideal world you will come have some electrical knowledge, but training will be provided eventually. So, this will suit someone that wants to better there career.

The role comes with sick pay after probation, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, company pension, and an array of benefits to go on top.

The basic is quite solid amount of £31,000 + call out fee which should take you to just under £33,000 but the role does come with overtime opportunities so there is scope to earn more money on top.
