Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A Tier 1 Facilities Management provider is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to deliver our services at the Brighton Marina Shopping Village.

This is a static site role offering long-term stability, working as the sole engineer on site, responsible for maintaining building services across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across building services systems.
• Fault finding, repair and maintenance of electrical plant and equipment.
• Support mechanical and general building services maintenance where required, including basic plumbing and fabric works.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and job reports via CAFM systems.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain site performance and uptime

Workload split is typically 75% planned maintenance and 25% reactive work.

Requirements

• Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within Facilities Management, commercial buildings or retail environments.
• Electrical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and building services maintenance experience
• Knowledge of PPM schedules, reactive maintenance and compliance procedures.
• The abilitiy to manage your own workload and schedules as a sole engineer on site.
