Maintenance Painter
Location: Liverpool
Salary: Up to £30,000
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent | Static Site
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Painter to join a facilities maintenance team supporting a large commercial contract in Liverpool. This is a static role covering three nearby sites, offering a stable working environment and strong long-term contract security.
The contract has recently transitioned to a new facilities provider, with a well-established team already in place and a strong working relationship with the client.
Working Pattern:
Monday – Friday (day shift)
Call-out rota: 1 in 4, moving to 1 in 8 as the team grows
Call-outs are generally low volume (around one per week)
Salary & Benefits:
Salary up to £30,000
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x
Highly subsidised on-site canteen
Free annual flu jab
Strong long-term contract stability
Role Overview:
Working as part of the on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive painting and decorating tasks across the site to maintain high presentation standards.
Key responsibilities include internal and external painting and decorating, preparing surfaces, patch repairs and touch-ups, general fabric maintenance, and supporting the wider engineering team with minor building maintenance works where required.
This role would suit someone with experience in a commercial maintenance environment who takes pride in maintaining the appearance and condition of buildings.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in painting and decorating within a commercial or maintenance environment
Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
Ability to complete minor fabric repairs
Strong attention to detail and quality of work
Team-focused approach with the ability to work independently
