  • Lead planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and commercial gas systems

  • Act as the technical lead for commercial gas plant, boilers, and associated systems

  • Plan and allocate works, ensuring SLA and compliance targets are achieved

  • Remain hands-on with fault-finding and maintenance when required

  • Oversee subcontractors, permits to work, RAMS, and site inductions

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and gas regulations

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation

  • Liaise with on-site management and key stakeholders

  • Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Strong background in commercial gas and mechanical maintenance

  • Experience in a Lead Engineer, Supervisor, or Senior Mechanical Engineer role

  • Background working on industrial or large commercial sites

  • Confident supervising engineers and managing contractors

  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and compliance reporting

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent)

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical / Heating & Ventilation (or equivalent)

  • IOSH or SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)

  • Full UK driving licence

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary

  • Static site role offering long-term stability

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

  • Pension scheme and additional benefits
