Overview

We’re recruiting a Technical Manager to support a world leading global technology client at their brand new flagship campus in King’s Cross (N1C).
This is a senior, leadership-focused role for a major international FM provider, overseeing a modern, highly technical commercial environment.

If you want a high profile London site, strong progression, and full autonomy over a multi disciplinary engineering team, this role is ideal.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanical, electrical and building services engineers
• Oversee daily operations, PPMs, reactive tasks and site scheduling
• Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety
• Conduct staff development, coaching, performance reviews and training
• Coordinate contractors and ensure compliance with all site procedures
• Support budgets, reporting and operational planning
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation and engineering practice
• Handle escalations, urgent issues and client expectations professionally

What We’re Looking For

• Background in engineering, technical services or building services management
• Experience supervising or managing an engineering team
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to handle complex or sensitive information confidently
• Good working knowledge of modern commercial building systems
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Competent with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
• Relevant engineering qualifications (degree preferred but not essential)
