Gas/Oil Installation Engineer – National Domestic Boiler Installations

An established, Midlands-based heating contractor (head office in Rugby, Coventry) is seeking an experienced Gas/Oil Installation Engineer to carry out domestic boiler installations for private homeowners across the UK.

This role is focused exclusively on private residential and high-end homes. There is no social housing work involved.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, with travel uplifts provided.

The Role

• Installation and replacement of gas and oil boilers in private domestic properties

• Full central heating system installs and upgrades within high-end residential homes

• Working nationwide on varied domestic projects

• Regular UK travel with overnight stays as required

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service within occupied homes

This is a national travel role. Engineers must be comfortable working away during the week when required. Accommodation and subsistence are fully covered.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

Requirements

• Gas Safe registered

• OFTEC registered (LPG desirable)

• Minimum 5 years’ independent experience installing domestic gas and/or oil boilers

• NVQ qualification or recognised apprenticeship

• Full UK driving licence

• Willing and able to travel nationally with overnight stays

• Professional approach suited to working in private and high-value homes

• DBS check required (considered case-by-case)
