Are you a fully qualified electrician with commercial experience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training?
Our client is seeking an experienced electrician who can work within well-known commercial environments, carrying out all areas of electrical compliance, maintenance and remedial tasks. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across the central belt of Scotland.
The fixed wire tester will have:
Candidate must have achieved the SVQ Level 3 Certificate in electrical installation
City & Guilds 2382 required.18th Edition desirable
City & Guilds 2391/ 2394/5, desirable but not essential. Otherwise, possess sound knowledge of testing and inspection.
Good Understanding of Statutory Compliance.
Forward thinking pro-active approach
Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal helpdesk/admin and clients at varying levels.
Client Customer facing experience
Good understanding of electrical certification
Experience in using electrical multi-function testers
Experience in fire alarm/ vesda systems desirable
The fixed wire tester will receive:
Competitive salary of circa £36000
Overtime available on top of the stated salary
Additional payment per week as part of on call rota. (Currently every 6-7 weeks)
Van and fuel card
Up to 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

All tools supplied apart from hand tools
Megger multifunction tester supplied
Training and development courses
Eligible to sign up to company Perkbox scheme after probation period is complete.
