Head of Asset Management
Salary up to £75k plus car allowance
Hybrid/Remote with National Travel

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Asset Manager or Reliability Manager to join a forward thinking company on a permanent basis.

You would be a key part of the leadership team, heading up an existing Asset Management and Reliability function for this large and well-respected consultancy.

The versatile scope of the role will see you ensuring that a full suite of industry leading reliability and asset management services are delivered.  You would ensure the team deliver an outstanding reliability service to an existing portfolio of customers.  You would also play a pivotal role in driving growth by proactively driving the cross selling to other new and existing customers, whilst supporting the business in looking for new business opportunities.

Ostensibly based from home, you would work with clients across the UK, regularly attend company meetings in Cambridgeshire, and liaise with your team and the wider business across the company as necessary.


Role & Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of engineering specialists, including reliability and condition based monitoring specialists
  • Developing reliability strategies
  • Delivery of all reliability and asset management activities across customer sites
  • Transform the asset management service offering, identifying and introducing additional reliability services to both new and existing customers
  • Enhancing reliability services offering to increase tangible value to our customers
  • Working as a member of Senior Leadership Team, and responsible for the development and implementation of reliability strategies that support growth in all sectors.

Candidate Profile
  • Must have significant demonstrable experience of Asset Management, Plant Reliability, Condition Monitoring
  • Successful track record delivering process reliability and asset care improvements within a manufacturing industry setting
  • Proven track record of leading and developing asset management or reliability teams
  • Experience of managing and delivering within financial budgets
  • Capability to identify and deliver value driven reliability solutions
  • Experience of the recruitment of new staff or contractors
