Nights Only Shift Maintenance Engineer 

Heathrow Airport - TW6 1PZ

4 on 4 off - 20:00-08:00 shifts (2 hour break)

£40,000 per year

Due to team expansion, we are currently looking for a Nights only, M&E Shift Engineer to be based on a large airline contract in Heathrow Airport for a Well-Established Facilities Maintenance company, working across Terminal 3 - the ideal candidate will be responsible for all M&E duties across site as well as any other tasks that may arise on a day to day basis.

Duties and Responsibilities for a M&E Shift Engineer:

  • Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
  • Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
  • Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
  • Liaise with client/management

Qualifications and Experience for a M&E Shift Engineer:

  • Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 qualification in relevant Electrical or Mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to pass a background check or currently hold an airside pass
  • Must be able to produce a 5 year working history!
  • 18th/17th Edition
  • Good knowledge of mechanical/HVAC maintenance (desired)
  • Client-facing & well presented
