HVAC Recruitment is working with a leading Facilities Management company in Scotland, renowned for its comprehensive maintenance and support services to a wide range of commercial clients. We are looking for a talented Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.
Role Purpose
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will primarily cover sites in Edinburgh for three days a week, with the remainder of the week covering various sites across Scotland. The Commercial Gas Engineer will work on a mix of commercial gas and building services tasks, including tap temperatures, emergency lighting, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work on commercial gas systems.
- Carry out building services tasks, including tap temperatures and emergency lighting.
- Work on commercial offices and airport control towers.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Be available for on-call duties on a rotational basis (1 in 6).
- Manage travel time efficiently, with a 30-minute each-way travel allowance.
- Take advantage of unlimited overtime opportunities to maximize earnings.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of building services tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Flexibility to travel across Scotland as required.
