Commercial Pipefitter / Plumber – Heating & Mechanical Systems
Location: West Midlands, UK (Travel Required)
Salary: Up-to 55k DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week, overtime and weekend availability possible

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Pipefitter / Plumber to join a growing mechanical services team in the West Midlands. This role involves working across commercial heating, boiler, and hot water systems for local authorities, blue-chip clients, and direct manufacturer projects.
You will carry out installations, refurbishments, maintenance, and plumbing works, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to develop their skills in a variety of commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and refurbish commercial boilers, water heaters, and heating systems
- Conduct general plumbing works and system maintenance
- Support boiler room refurbishments and equipment upgrades
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and industry regulations
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial plumbing or pipefitting
- Knowledge of commercial heating systems and hot water systems
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Punctual, reliable, and able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong team player but able to work independently
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of heating controls (not essential)
- Gas qualifications (not essential)
